Some of my favorite work pictures...

Some of my ESOL students & I attending an immigration seminar at UCF, where we met and spoke with then Governor Jeb Bush.

Celebrating graduation with one of my former ESOL students, now a student at Valencia Community College

Mentors in the Darter 2 Darter Mentoring Program participating in our Summer Leadership Institute

My former student, Jameson, and I celebrating the last day of school for the Class of 2007. Jameson, a Haitian immigrant who began learning English in 8th grade, is now a licensced electrician, after completing a dual enrollment program at a Tech School, which he continued after high school. He is now going to college for a business degree on an employer funded scholarship!

Enjoying a kayaking trip with ESOL and migrant students sponsored by the Sierra Club's Inner City Outings and the Hope CommUnity Center. The HCC is part of the Apopka Farmworker's Ministry, an organization I have been happy to be able to work with for the last eight years.

Students in our College & Career Access Network club, a joint venture between AmeriCorps volunteers at the Hope CommUnity Center and myself on their first trip to USF last spring. Go Bulls!
